Student Intern Program

The Western District of North Carolina U.S. Probation/Pretrial Services Office believes the Student Intern Program is an important part of our district's outreach into the communities we serve.  The Student Intern Coordinators select college and/or university students to serve in a non-compensated position within our organization.  The student intern serves under the direction of a U.S. Probation Officer, allowing them to gain valuable knowledge and experience to enhance and broaden their education with practical experience in the field of criminal justice.
